Pyrotec was initially founded as Label Processes in 1961. It sold self-adhesive roll label material, hot stamping foil and inplant label printing machinery. The company was bought by Mr Joseph Beattie Senior in 1965.
In 1966, the Tower Label Company was formed to make use of Label Processes’ materials and machinery. It specialised in the production of high quality cosmetic and toiletry labels. Label Processes and Tower Label Company merged in 1982 to form Synchron Markings while Tower morphed into the brand of stationery labels that we know today.
In 1989, Synchron Markings was split into two separate companies. The Label division was called Pyrotec, the leading innovative producer of quality labels.
Today, Pyrotec has three main brands: Pyrotec PackMedia, Pyrotec PackMark, and Tower which incorporates Toby Tower.
