The first Pyro Inspirations Judging took place on the 10th of January at Pyrotec in Cape Town. Eight finalists were identified and their on-pack concepts were judged in terms of originality, creativity and clever use of space. The “Back to Cool” Fix-a-Form™ which was used on the Bantex McCasey 2 was announced as the winner. Judges loved it because it gave a clear indication of what you could win, how the competition worked, had prizes that were relevant to their target market and motivate children to encourage their parents to purchase the product.
